The Squirrel

Squirrels, which are members of the family Sciuridae, are small or medium-sized rodents known for their bushy tails and large eyes. They're divided into three types- tree squirrels, ground squirrels, and flying squirrels. Sporting coats in shades of gray, brown, or sometimes red, they have sharp claws for climbing trees and powerful hind legs for leaping. Squirrels communicate using complex vocalizations and tail signals. They're also pretty darn smart and have been known to outwit predators!
